We design and install on average more than 30 baseball / softball backstop netting systems each year. These projects range from high school and park / rec. fields to universities, minor league and major league facilities. Netting systems on baseball and softball fields serves two primary functions. The first is to help prevent errant balls from leaving the field of play. The second is to provide a more fan friendly, unobstructed field of view compared to chain link. We can provide a backstop system using 4 poles, none of which are in the view of the fans. A comparable chain link backstop would require 20+ vertical poles and horizontal and is much less fan friendly. This is the primary reason so many facilities are transitioning from chain link to a properly designed and engineered netting system. Look through our project gallery for examples of several different designs and installations.
After years of dealing with inferior and cheaply made batting cage systems, Net Connection has introduced our Professional Series batting cage systems specifically designed for high use applications. Our simple, yet extremely durable design allows the end user with flexible use options as well as the possibility to retract the hitting cages to one end when not in use. See our photo gallery of batting cages to see the difference.
